Musical Pull Toy
Good for: Language development, fine motor skills, listening and laying the ground for reading skills
Anytime a toy can be manipulated by either pushing or pulling, helps develop their fine motor skills! As they play, they are grasping hold of a cord at the same time that they are pulling the toy. This fosters the growth of their fine motor skills. As you pull the musical cord of the toy, your child is seeing a first-hand example of cause and effect. They may not get it just yet, but they are absorbing everything from the get go. A lot of research has been done on the benefits of music for young brains as it stimulates neural pathways and promotes critical thinking and problem-solving skills. It is thought that the patterns and rhythms of music help the brain to become faster and more efficient at transmitting information. Babies and toddlers who are exposed to music perform better in areas such as language development, speech, listening and reading skills.
